Slow like Honey

It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means. You are probably expecting to see some pictures about this week’s Tuesday’s With Dorie pick, Russian Grandmother’s Apple-Pie Cake. But I’m sad to say that I let you down again. I know, I know, that makes TWO weeks in a row. I should be punished.

But in my defense, instead of baking this week’s pick, I just had to make this Cocoa Buttermilk Birthday cake with peanut butter frosting for my best friend’s birthday day. And what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t surprise her with copious amounts of sugar and chocolate?!

I promise, come rain or shine, I am in for next week’s pick. Scout’ s honor… Well, I’m not technically a girl scout, but whatever. You get my drift.
